Rick and Janet subscribe to the philosophy "it is fun to work where it's fun to play." The town of Panguitch is perceived by many to be the Gateway to Bryce Canyon, Zion, and Capitol Reef National Parks as well as Cedar Breaks National Monument and Brian Head Ski Resort. It is fun to have a business in a place where so many of one's customers are overwhelmed with the beauty that is all around them. Flying M has a full Utah liquor license and also serves beer and wines in the bottle. A wine and liquor list are available upon request. We have a beautiful banquet facility that is ideal for receptions, business banquets, club meetings and for tour buses. The room can accommodate large groups of 80 for dinner or the room cam be divided to seat 50 in one room and 30 in the other. Flying M also has a unique gift shop. Rick and Janet have worked hard to make sure that their gift shop was not like every other Southwestern store. While they do offer Native American jewelry and artifacts, most of the selection at Flying M Gifts are nontraditional. Out of Texas in 1890 came Elijah Moore, bringing one of the first herds of cattle to this area. He was to become a legend in his own time, building the "Flying M" Ranch and was well known for his fast gun. In 1947 Elijah's son, Dewey founded the "Flying M Restaurant". Like his father before him, he was noted for his hard riding and hospitality. Today the "Flying M" is still an active brand and we hope you find a bit of the old west hospitality with us.
